In Omaha’s Historic Little Italy
St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, at 1248 South 10th Street, is nestled in the heart of the historic Little Italy neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. Like our church itself, the neighborhood is vibrant and diverse. Neighbor icons like Orsi’s Bakery, The Sons of Italy and Christ Child Society have been joined by new construction of residential homes and condominiums, and the addition of new businesses. Located just south of the Old Market, St. Frances Cabrini is a short distance from Omaha’s Riverfront, the Durham Museum, Heartland of America Park, Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, TD Ameritrade Park and CenturyLink Center. Built in 1908, the church is on the list of Omaha Landmarks as an example of Spanish Renaissance Revival style. It is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
