What is the Cabrini Campus Grounds and Gardening Ministry?

The Cabrini Campus Grounds and Gardening Ministry consists of the planning, planting and maintenance (weeding, watering, trimming, deadheading and overall care) of the plants and flowers around the rectory, the church grounds, Mary’s garden and the Cabrini Parish Center. It also includes litter pickup and coordinating a spring and fall cleanup.

Who can join?

This ministry is for anyone and everyone who enjoys being outdoors, gardening and keeping the Cabrini campus and grounds clean and beautiful. It is also helpful if you don’t mind getting sweaty and dirty.

How does it work?

Summer watering and weeding schedules are based on when volunteers can fit it into their personal schedules. Spring and fall cleanups are announced in the bulletin, on our website, and through phone calls to volunteers and members of this ministry.

How do I sign up?

For more information or to join, contact Bill and Sharon Kingston or Diane Johnson at the parish office at (402) 934-7706.
