Religious Education

The program is a cooperative effort between catechists and parents in our parish community. It is a vital support to the faith experienced in the child’s home environment building on the notion that parents are the primary educators of their children in the ways of faith. The program provides instruction to students in Catholic teachings and traditions, and also meaningful prayer, sacramental and liturgical experiences.

The Religious Education Program strives to lead students to recognize Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, especially in the Eucharist; and challenges them to live the teachings of Jesus as revealed through the Roman Catholic Church. Building a relationship with Jesus Christ and with the assembly of disciples is the beginning of a life-long faith formation.

Classes meet during the school year on Wednesday evenings.
